WIRED Athletes (Warrior: Integration-Reconditioning-Education-Development) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that uses triathlon, cycling and adventure sports as a platform to recondition wounded athletes.
WIRED Athletes has a nation-wide network of cycling and triathlon clubs, coaches and elite athletes who are on call to connect veterans with local clubs, events and activities in their hometowns.
Our mission is to empower athletes and their family to develop life skills, through sport, so they may attain a life path oriented toward optimal health and wellness.

Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I am the head cycling coach for the Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment. While working at the Hope & Care Center at Camp Pendleton noticed a disconnect with the transition of our Marines from active-duty to civilian life. At the battalion they are provided with equipment (ie bicycles) coaches, sports therapy, nutrition, adaptive reconditioning. But once out all those opportunities are gone. We continue this program once they are out of the military.
