Desert Wise is an Albuquerque psychotherapy clinic specializing in the treatment of trauma – to include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), childhood trauma [complex- or developmental- PTSD (CPTSD)], military sexual trauma (MST), trauma related to interpersonal violence (IPV), war-related trauma, and traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Resultantly, our approaches to treatment are trauma-informed, as is our clinic environment and the flexibility of our processes - ensuring we can meet the idiosyncratic needs of each individual.

Our founding mission is to provide culturally competent care to and advocacy for military members, veterans, and those who love them. Our team has decades of combined experience treating the military-connected population.

Originally trained as generalists, we also provide treatment for the civilian population and welcome individuals from all walks of life who are seeking depth, professionalism, and trauma-informed care in their therapeutic journey.
