Being in the service taught me leadership, how to handle any situation that may arise and put a plan into action. We are often outside of our comfort zone throughout our time in the service which to me builds up our courage to try new things. This gave me the courage that is needed to open a new business, taking the chance and having the courage to step outside of my comfort zone.
