Being a Nurse Corps officer in the navy was a great experience. The military taught me that I was a leader first and a nurse second. This was invaluable to me. As a leader, I have the ability to be ready for change, remain flexible, and commit to being a life long learner. I approach my business with the same strategies I utilized when I served my country. I honor those who I serve and give my best even in tough circumstances.
